Sermon Title: "Crown Him King" Scripture Reading: John 18:33-37 |
| KINGLY ROLE PLAY: Cover a chair with pretty material or a sheet... set a CROWN on the top and make the chair look like a KING's chair. Have students take turns putting on a KINGLY ROBE and the CROWN and a SCEPTER. The KING could ask each "kneeling servant" what they would like to GIVE to the KING, and WHY. CROWN CRAFT: Students make a crown, decorate it, and write KING OF KINGS on it. (PDF Pattern) 1. Prior to class print out the crown pattern and cut it out. Trace it onto gold poster board. Song: "Crown Him King of Kings" by Sharon Damazio Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot provide words and music, but this song should be readily available in many current Praise and Worship song collections as well as in Word/Integrity Music's Celebration Hymnal. (No. 4) Song: "King of Kings" - Words by Sophie Conty and Naomi Batya |
