Good Morning everyone, how are you today.  Did anyone ride their bike to church this morning?  Anyone ride a horse?  Of course not.  almost everyone here at church came in a car or a van. 

There are alot of cars and vans on the road aren't there? I must have seen at least a hundred cars on the way to church this morning. Did you ever wonder how all those cars don't keep from running into each other? Well, there are rules that you have to follow when you drive a car....Drive on the right, follow the speed limit and lots of others. If everyone obeys the rules, everything runs pretty smoothly and no one runs into each other.

Well, did you know we as Christians have rules to follow too? Anyone know what those rules are called. Right! The Ten Commandments. I'm going to go over a few of these rules, but you can find them in your bibles too. Some of them seem pretty easy to follow, but some of the other ones we might have some trouble with. A few of the Ten Commandments are:

• Do not steal- pretty easy. You don't take it if it is not yours.
• Do not kill anyone - we should not have any problem with that one.
• Do not worship any other God. That one seems easy. Who would worship anyone other God. I always think of this one as trying to put God first in your lives.

Sometimes we might put other things first in our lives, but what kind of things would that be? I have a few things in this little box, which might give us a hint.

- Money - some people worry about money way too much. God gives you everything you need.
- This computer. I use for work - I think about work way too much, sometimes even in church. I'll ask God to help me with this.
- The Steelers....Yep. Do you know there are 60,000 people that go to each Steeler game. Wouldn't it be great if we had 60,000 people here at church each week? we'd need some extra chairs wouldn't we? I'd bet that alot of the people who go to the Steeler games know each of the 53 Steelers, but probably could not name you half of Jesus' disciples. There are people who actually think God is a Steeler fan.

As Christians, we need to keep our focus on doing things for God and keep him first in your life. One of the ways you can do this is to read your bible every day, even just a little bit. So use your bibles and read the stories about Jesus and the disciples. There are alot of good things to read in there.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for giving us your Word in the bible and help us to keep our lives focused on you. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
